Typical GNP terrain...

This route, angling up the north face of Clements Mountain, is a good illustration of quite frequently encountered exposure in these mountains (note people at upper right—in shadow—for scale and location). You need to know how you handle exposure before setting out for some of these summits! An obvious rule of thumb is: watch your step! Pointed mountain in the distance is Mount Siyeh, with Piegan Mountain to the right.
