I'm surprised there wasn't already a summitpost for this one!
i haven't found one, so it was my "big chance" :)
I just had the same thought!
Thanks for starting a page on this one. It was indeed a big void on Summitpost. But I hope you're not done just yet, there's so much more to tell about this place! I think that in due time the page would be better split up into 2 separate pages for Uluru and Kata Tjuta. I have some good photos as well, I'll see if I can contribute some useful shots to your page.
Anyway, thanks for the effort, and I hope there's more to come!
at the moment i don't have enough info to split it into a Uluru and a Kata Tjuta page...
i'm thankful for contributions, cheers, flow!
Maybe you can post a little note on the Oceania forum board? I'm sure there are people willing to help out a bit with contributing some info, me included (but right now I'm a bit busy).
Oh and I'm also sure they'd be delighted to know that there's a page in the first place, Australia and NZ don't see that many new mountainpages!
I was surprised too that Ayers Rock/Uluru did not yet have a page. Nice work and nice photography. Just some minor spelling errors: 'plains from mayor' needs to be fixed.
do you mean to change the sentence like this:
The main attraction is to climb Uluru with its 348 metres plains from mayor?!?
You mean "planes from major Australian cities"
Nice photos. I'm sure this will get a lot of additional info added. Haven't been out there myself yet!
oh, yeah, that's what i mean :)
and photos ! Well done Florian.
thank you very much!
it was a perfect trip, worth to go again...
