Only Peak X, still lot of snow, but it was beautiful day with some with at the top.
first of the four, lovely autumn hike! freshly killed deer on the side of the trail creeped us out!
Nice peak, nice weather. Did this with Deb
Alphabetizer run with Scot, Kimo and Anna. We started with 11270 across the valley, then ran Zephyr, Z, Y, X, X Prime and Kenosha and came back down the Ben Tyler trail. Lots of deadfall on the trail. Virtually snow free all day, and any snow was no more than 2" deep.
With Buster. Started with Eurus Plateau, then onto Zephyr, Z, Y, X and X Prime.
X, X', Y, & Z with Pete
Handful of peaks on a long day from Long Gulch. In order of ascent: UN 11270, Peak Z, Zephyr, Payne BM, No Payne, Peak Y, Peak X. Beautiful fall day in the LCW!
A few of us snowshoed up the gulch through 1-2 feet of snow to the ridge between X and Y. The wind had picked up by the time we got there and it was getting late so we didn't attempt to go further. Looking forward to trying again in the summer.
X, X Prime, Y, and Z with Will Allen
Climbed this as part of the Alphabetizer with the wife and pup.
I was pretty surprised by how much snow was on this peak in late May. Despite the elevation, these mountains are usually fairly dry. Enjoyed this peak along with "X-Prime." It's a joy to see this mountain and it's neighbors whenever I'm at the cabin.
