Thanks for the notes and kind words! Yeah, I laughed when I read the SP summit logs for other nearby peaks because it seems the 2nd of October is "the official" day to summit these mountains.
It was certainly a beautiful day up there in the Sawatch, but...the talus...I have nothing positive to say about it. We were so sick of talus, once we reached tundra & trail we nearly stopped to kiss the ground. :)
