Unnamed Peak 8,101 (Piper Lake, Grassy Mountains)

This photo shows the high point on the high ridge on the west edge of Grassy Mountains, the westernmost subrange of the Salmon River Mountains of central Idaho. This high point has four lakes in the cirque network on its east side. Access into this area is not easy due to terrain and private land to the west. Hard Butte is on the far left. Photo was taken from the Salmon/Snake divide many miles to the northwest. June 2009
