Delphinium sp.Not a straightforward genus identification-wise. At times difficult to tell Delphinium brunonianum (very variable) apart from some forms of Delphinium cashmerianum. I generally find specimens from high-altitude usually are Delphinium brunonianum. The situation is complicated by 'Flowers of the Himalaya' (Polunin & Stainton) which has an image of a miniature Delphinium brunonianum (not absolutely sure it is this species) photographed in Dolpo, West Nepal then a photo labelled as Delphinium cashmerianum photographed on Baralacha La (between Lahaul & Ladakh) which comes within my present understanding of Delphinium brunonianum!
This appear to be the end of the gallery - has brought back some pleasant memories of plants I have seen during my travels. I will look for other galleries with mountain flowers.
