Re: What an awesome

Thanks again, Larry.....This formation WAS a little different from some of the traditional "Red Rock" formations found there......This route was a relatively easy top rope at maybe 5.8 or so....

That is where I got my taste for Ice and my love for the desert. Red rocks such a wonderful place to climb

Where are you from in Wyoming? I returned from a trip to Casper/ Douglas today.......Just wondering......Did you acquire a taste for the wind in Wyoming as well? :-) Thanks for the vote and comment!

Re: I am a Wyo native

I lived in Green River Wyo. in the seventies. I started climbing there about 1973. From there all over USA and Canada.I aquired not a tatste for the wind but a tolerance for the wind. Belive you me the wind can blow up here we were on the Lower Saddle Of the Grand Teoton once where the wind was blowing 105 miles an hour. I live in Broomfield Col. currently working in Gillett Wyo. Which means Climbing on Devils Tower and the Needles South Dakota. Hope you climbed in Fremount Canyon when you were at Casper. Best of luck climbing From the Ice Man Jerry aka wyoming native
