Re: Is this...You got it. Of course it’s also the cabin that is missing about 1/3 of the floor. When you guys were up there, do you remember if someone had tried to pry into that big lockbox in the cabin? I’m suspecting hunters.
Wow, thinking back to that trip just now reawakened some nice memories: being all alone up there, the hike up to Deluge through 3”+ snow drifts in the trees, not finding the cabin that first night and camping on a snow-free spot, spending the next night in the cabin… It’s enough to make we want to go back tomorrow, I need another shot of the alpine world! But I’m busy with school and work this fall. I did, finally, get a job a few weeks ago at Dillons (the Kansas King Soopers/City Market). After my stint as a mountain bum I’ve hunkered down to get stuff done. It’s weird being a poor student again. It’s like I just went back seven years in time!
