I climbedLaramie Peak only about 2 weeks before you guys!! I can't believe that the snow was melted by the time you arrived.....Good job to all of you! P.S. Where was this photo taken?

Re: I climbedMy photo was taken Near the gap lakes in the Snowy Range. I will take my 8 year old son, Kyle, with me to the same spot this year. His first backpacking trip.
I enjoyed your photos. You had a lot of snow on you trek up Laramie Peak. The photo of Garden Creek Falls was surprising. Did you live in Casper?

Re: I climbedI was born and raised in Casper, I went to college at Casper College, and then transferred to the University of Wyoming....I HATED Laramie!! But that was before I started technical climbing.....Now, I wish I had climbed at Vedauwoo when I was there. I moved away in 1984, but I miss Casper----but not the wind! I do not remember Garden Creek Falls when I lived in Casper, but it was so beautiful, that I felt it needed to be posted! Good luck to you and your son!
