Re: New piccyIt was late April 1998 during an extended dry spell so as to minimize avalanche danger. Mt Hood is a mountain you want to climb before July, because those rime-covered cliffs you see in back of me become major rock-fall hazards after they've melted out. But the snow-cover you see on the ground is year-round. You can ski there in the summer.
