Re: F&#@!

I am psyched to hear that you're doing better. Sounds like it was a scary fall! Hiking and easy climbing? Sorry I am not buying it. You will get back to what you love sooner than ya think :). That's what makes us human; we bounce back after tough breaks stronger than ever. What does not kill us makes us stronger, eh!? Just look at the Olympians in 'couver and get inspired. Trip report sometime soon? I'd love to hear what happened up there.

Peace bro and feel better!

How are you doing?

Did you heal properly?

Re: How are you doing?

The area with the break healed nicely, and the ankle is about 95% now. However, my knee got screwed up from the impact or the surgery and may never be the same. 9 months later I am still trying to rehab it and avoid getting an MRI done. Rockclimbing is probably out of the question until I can get some better balance with the knee.

Thanks for asking.

How is the leg healing

Just read that the injury took place on the Eldorado Creek Basin, a place where I was last week! Those talus fields can be total traps on the legs. Hope it is all healed up now.

Re: How is the leg healing

The accident occured about 300 feet below the summit of The Triad so yes it was on the upper end of that basin.

Thanks for dropping by.
