Re: Dennis?

He doesn't wear one in camp. Only in the outback.

Re: Dennis?

I wanted to give all of you the full impact of my rugged good looks. I know it is unfair to the masses, but this will provide a goal for everyone to aspire to.

Well then, I am realy sorry I didnt get to meet you with Dean. Maybe I would have left with a goal that I could aspire to.

Re: Dennis...

Don't underestimate your worthiness. The appreciation of rugged good looks should not be restricted to those who are blessed.

Re: Dennis?

I wish I could have been there with Dean. In the words of the late General MacArthur, "I shall return". There are many mountains in Idaho that are on my list to summit. Hopefully, we will be able to hike together on some of them.

Re: Dennis?

Yes, I visited the MacArthur monument on
the Filipino island of Leyte several years
ago.

The man was wearing his hat!

Re: Dennis?

MacArthur needed to wear his hat at all times 24/7. The corn cob pipe was a feeble attempt to enhance his unrugged manliness.

Re: Dennis, are you guys

WiFi works on most summits. I now carry a laptop in my backpack along with a solar panel to recharge the battery.
