Eric (Imontop) and I had hiked 3 miles with 2350' of elevation gain to earn this viewpoint. That is Gobblers Knob in the background on a truly stellar March day. The day before it had been snowing and windy. Thanks to Eric for taking this picture. 3-20-10

Awesome ..

Except, I would have called it "Big Water Peak," especially when all that snow begins to melt.

Can't wait to get up there to Utah !!!
Nice picture!

My wife said, "You look very young in this
picture."

I'm not in the picture, so she must be referring to you, Dean! !!

Re: Awesome ..

Thank you Larry and I am sure your wife was referring to my "youthful" appearence that I get from hanging around with young people like Eric. Eric is a marathoner but he kindly keeps his pace down to where I can keep him in sight. I'm sure if I was hiking with you Larry that I could make you look much younger. BTW, we met three backcountry skiers on the summit of Little Water, and all of them were over 60. Great to be so active at that age. ; )

Re: Awesome ..

If everybody up there is as friendly as Eric,
then I have nothing in the world to worry about !!!
