Free Bird !I wanna hear Free Bird ...
Back in my younger years, I could be found
behind the drum kit, putting down the rhythm
for members with similar guitars in their
hands.
I think I liked playing the blues beat most
of all, man, those were the days ..

4) Too Rollin' Stoned - Robin Trower
5) Spanish Castle Magic - Hendrix
6) Shapes of Things - Yardbirds (Gary Moore version)
7) Summer Song - Joe Satriani
I have some video of my set from a recent club gig but the audio's awful. I might put it up on a web page some day, if I do I'll send you the url.

This brings a tear to my eye to know that
you're still playing, and I have long since
retired from the cymbals and drum kit & sticks.
Can't go wrong with a set like that ..
Didn't Joe Satriani used to play for "Deep Purple" after Richie Blackmore quit ???
'Shapes of Things' and 'Too Rollin' Stoned' are TWO of my favorites.
Robin Trower must be 66-years-old as we speak, still doing it, and thoroughly enjoyed his albums back in the 1970s.
I always preferred the "Nazareth" version of
'Shapes of Things' off their awesome 1974 album
Rampant.
