I am planning to tackle Citlaltepetle (Pico de Orizaba) early next year with a few lower Mexican acclimatization peaks first. Came across your great site when trawling for info about this. Very hard to find any info in UK re Mexican Volcano routes - so SP proving to be invaluable in helping to inform planning. Thanks! My experience is predominantly Scottish mountains (hence username Buachaille). Glacier travel and being above 14,000 ft will be new experiences.
