Recently retired from two careers in natural resource management. Active hiker who now spends summers in Girdwood and winter time in the California desert area. Am a new high pointer and traveling the US and having fun. Am now in Alaska until late September and then back south to the desert. On the way up in late August did Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highpoint and Wheeler Peak in New Mexico. Both were a lot of fun. Local days spent on the trails around Girdwood including Crow Pass and others. Spare time Girdwood. Moved on since leaving Alaska. High points continue - this evening camped in NM after doing HP's 9 - Nebraska, 10 - Kansas - Mt Sunflower and today Black Mesa in Oklahoma - love this earth
