Valley below Ribnicka Vrata...

Valley below Ribnicka Vrata pass (1200m, left) and nameless peak (1346m) from the Rujanska Kosa hill, which is the beginning of Viserujna west ridge. Down this edge, face and through the valley glacier used to descend from inner Velebit in glacial period. Rujanska Kosa (photo point) used to be its moraine. From Malo Rujno, through the valley and over the pass, beautiful but unmarked path goes to inner Velebit and at Oglavninovac grassy basin joins Visocica (1619m) - Struge refuge route. From Zavrata refuge to Struge refuge, using this variation takes 6h. For those that like to wander on unmarked terrain this is amazingly beautiful route through wilderness where you'll meet no one.
