Have visited most interesting in the park. Hope to go back some day.
Second trip to Valley of Fire State Park. First trip ended in a medical emergency, so we went again to make up for it.
What a zoo on Memorial Day weekend! It was like Disneyland, and not in a good way. I suspect it'd be better enjoyed at a quieter time..
Have visited a few times and always had fun. Peaklets I have climbed include Silica Dome, Cairn Peak, and The Orphan.
Wonderful scenery, wonderful wildflowers. I love this place!
I visited this park three times. Every time I had a different experience. Awesome place for a day/ half day outside Vegas.
Hit the Valley of Fire with a whole herd of people from Korea. Did a bunch of the recommened hikes. Easy enough for kids---great for everyone. Highly recommend this park!
I would say if you come prepared with a lightweight jacket or wind-shell, you would be comfortable visiting in the Winter.
This park is awesome.
on my way from Vegas to Zion National Park. Couple of interesting hikes with rock paintings and nice scenery. Best to go in springtime or fall when its not too hot
My wife Carol and I stayed at the Atlatl Rock Campground along with our trusty German Shepard, Brit and we hiked every non-technical canyon and slot that we could find from the campsite. Most required some moderate scrambling and a bit of stiff hiking but only one slowed down our old dog. Some of the canyons appeared to pinch off but all were passable in the end. We have visited this magical place 3 times and I'm certain we will come back again.
