Easy walk up
Took the road, since the trail itself was still being worked on. The many abandoned car picnic sites along the road were a bit eerie, and I tried to imagine what the route would've looked like with all its conifers before the Station Fire. Nice views from the summit, though, and it was great chatting with the volunteer lookout.

up the long way
dragged mr. socalhiker and a few up others up here, kicking and screaming! we ascended the s/w ridge from big tujunga cyn. road (2000 foot gain). traversed some interesting rock formations near the peak.

Nice mountain ride up to the Lookout. Interesting to chat with volunteers there.

Great short hike
Hiked up from Charlton Flats up to Vetter Mountain. Beautiful yuccas and snow plants on the way. Great views from the lookout.
