View east from the summit area of Brown Mountain towards Markham Saddle. San Gabriel Peak to the left and Mount Markham to the right of Markham Saddle. Bear Canyon stretches west from Markham Saddle. Further to the right is Mount Lowe. In front of Mount Lowe the trail down towards Tom Sloan Saddle is visible. April 27, 2008.
