View from one of several nice overlooks along the very scenic South Loop Trail. Cathedral Rock (rising just above the very green area with aspen) looks like a tiny rocky outcrop from up here. South Loop Trail leads to Griffith and Charleston Peaks. Spring Mountains, Nevada.

Yes, it is definitely cooler up there. About 90 degrees I think this weekend. 90 is stil too hot for my dogs. They like it between 50 and 80. I'm hoping the monsoon rains will come and cool everything off soon so we can go hiking again.
