Nordend?

Probabily the direction is South and the rocky spur on the right is Punta Dufour...



Nice pic and nice day/snow for ski-mountaineering I suppose.

So the silver saddle on Nanga Parbat is named after the siver saddle on the Monte Rosa?

Hi Fabrizio,



thanks for your comment! The rocks on the right belong to the Dufourspitze, that´s right, but the direction is really East. "Under" the Silbersattel there´s the East-Face of Monte Rosa and you look down to Macugnaga.
