View of the Eagles Roost Buttress from the approach. The classic Being There (5.7) follows the prominent arete for one long pitch. There is a raptor next in a large pocket visible near the center of the photo. The nest was occupied in May 2005. Good karma, self-preservation (the birds can and will defend their nest), and continued good relations with the Forest Service all demand that you avoid this wall while the nest is occupied. There are plenty of other good climbs.
Freezer Burn Wall is to the right. Continue up the gully to the left to reach Ego Buttress and Sick Wall.
