View to Hancock Creek

Looking WNW down Hancock Creek to Lake Hancock and "Hancocks Combs." That's the road I drove in on (using my tree farm permit). The white area at right is a defunct (or idle) granite quarry. The road extends beyond this quarry a short distance to the 3700-ft saddle near Upper Lake Blethen. Sept. 30, 2012.
