Looking NE from the summit of Yakhchal
The closer peaks are R to L: Narchoo (3655 m), Point 3851 m and Point 3910 m
The distant peaks rise to the north of the Noor River Valley and are all in the 3300-3400 m range. These are the last peaks of Central Alborz That exceed 3000 m. To the north of these, the mountains become heavilly forested until they drop into the Caspian Sea. You can see the Caspian Sea clouds beyond these peaks
