very interesting

Exciting to see images of mountains in Iran, to discover something new. Wish I could travel there but unfortunately my pasport doesn't allow it. So pity!

Thank you for your comments. You are probably right, with that passport, you will never get into Iran. I must however say that during my 2005 trip, I had a very devout Iranian Jewish mountain guide. He was a very nice man. It was interesting watching him doing his prayers before every meal and before going to sleep in his sleeping bag. (see his pictures here PIC 1, PIC 2). He told me he moved to Israel and lived there for a few years working as a person who washed skyscraper windows but he missed the mountains so returned to Iran.
