Approach
Start at the Virginia Lakes Trailhead, take the use trail past the summer cabins on the east side of the parking area, and turn left to gain the toe of the ridge.
Route Description
The route is very straightforward. You can see it almost in entirety from the trailhead. Stay on the crest of the ridge, the rock is more solid there. Off to the sides the rock is detached, loose, and mostly unpleasant. There are a couple of bumps that make false summits on the way up, but they're not too disheartening since the ascent is short anyway.
Essential Gear
You need nothing more than a good pair of walking shoes and some water. If you have shoes with some sort of sticky rubber on the bottom you can make the route more fun by climbing the steep 3rd-class sections of the ridge instead of going around them.
Miscellaneous Info
If you have information about this route that doesn't pertain to any of the other sections, please add it here.
