Approach
Famous route is east shelter route . You must go to Ghotoorsoo ( or Shabil ) in east of mount by car. ( Ghotoorsoo and Shabil is very near to each other about 3 km ) Climbing : You can start climbing to east shelter or reach to that shelter in summer by strong cars .

Route Description
If you want to climbing to east shelter , you can start from Ghotoorsoo or Shabil . After about 3.5 hours you reach to east shelter : A big house that is placed in 3500 m. From east shelter to top of peak takes 3.5 ~ 4 hours in summer and a good weather .
The route is from the ridge . From shelter to top , there are 3 steps : First step : at first the route is sandy an then you must climbing from stones to top . Secont step : Top of second step is named Mehrab in 4700 m. Third step : This is very short and early you reach the Sabalan peak and you can see the lake in west side of peak .
When you reach top of each step , You can see north glacier of Sabalaan from top .
In winter you can't reach to shelter by car . Also you must stay in shelter and find a good weather to reach the peak .
