Approach

Start by parking off the Hyndman Creek Road as described in the Getting there section (southern Approach). There is no established trail or trailhead, so a GPS and map will be helpfull in knowing exactly where to pull off.

Route Description

Start by heading directly up the ridge. Once you crest the first rise you will see 3 bumps near the summit. From this vantage point it will actually look like the middle bump is the highest, but trust your map and GPS. It is actually the bump to the left. The route is straight forward - just follow the ridge all the way to the summit. The only really steep section you will encounter is a short section through a rock band (see picture below) at about 8500 ft.

The Route is about 6 miles round trip. We went in winter 2 days before the shortest day of the year, hence it took most of a day:), but I would imagine in summer you could knock it off in less time.

Essential Gear

No technical gear required. Snowshoes for winter.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
