Three trunked tree

Three trunked tree

Considered one of the high spots of Yuba County, I had been looking for a "3 trunked tree" that had a lot of sugar pine cones stuffed into it. When I found this, I had my wife take the pic. Note the cool looking splint I paid 700 dollars for in Lone Pine. I remade it myself later in the day. 8-5-2004

Dean, this is ...

A SIGNIFICANT PART OF CALIFORNIA - THE Plumas, right? Does it get a lot of VISITOR traffic from the Sacramento & Reno areas? You didn't have any of these CONES conk you atop the HEAD, did you??? (Well, probably wouldn't hurt as bad as being REAR - ENDED by a MOOSE.) Take care!!! Ha, ha ...

Hey Larry, this area is actively being logged so you avoid it if possible except on weekends.

Most people would avoid it anyway since the only reason to go here is to get the county highpoint.

Those are big cones and one conking you on the head would be painful. Perhap a climbing helmet should be worn and of course, no need to worry about moose in sunny california. ; )
