Shot of the valley leading up to the small, unnamed tarns on the way up to Clark Peak (August 31, 2003). I thought hiking up this grassy meadow was the most pleasant way to reach Clark Peak’s northern ridge, though crossing the boulder field and climbing a steep, talus-filled gully is another viable option.
