Utah Prominence Peak Map

Utah Prominence Peak Map

Currently I am chasing the Utah prominence peaks. I know many will think lists are not the way to go but for me it keeps me motivated. Since I moved to Utah, I've done been working on them and by doing so I am getting to visit places I would never normally go. Here's the map as of mid October 2012. Update: I only have 6 of the top 100 prominence peaks left now. Of the six, four are p2k's: Wagon Road Ridge (on Ute Indian reservation - takes some extra planning) Durst (private property - working on finding how to get permission) Granite Peak (Dugway proving grounds - offlimits) Granite Peak (near Beaver - has class 5 pillar that no one has done) Color coding: Yellow indicates that the peak is done. Gray indicates the one on Dugway military reservation which at this time is not accessible. Beige indicates p2k's in either Arizona or Colorado that remain to be climbed. My Utah completion list can be found at peakbagger.com

What goes up must come down?

What ever happened to Stansbury Is. and
Dugway? You aren't afraid of a few stray
missiles buzzing past your head at Dugway,
are you? There's a lot of mountain bikers
always goin' to Stansbury Is. - seems like
that would be on your list. You must have
a very long & impressive list, Dean!!!
