Pyramid of Sveto Brdo

Upper half of magnificent pyramid of Sveto Brdo (1751m) begins to appear as you approach ridge of Debelo Brdo (1441m). Bura wind blows so forcefully on its ridge, often with hurricane force, so there is never snow here, except this few centimeters that grabs and glues to grass and rock. This pathless variation of Modric route is highly recommended because of fantastic views towards sea and Libinje plateau. It takes around 2h to surmount huge slope of Debelo Brdo above Libinje and further 1.40h from this point to the summit. All together 7h from the coast to Sveto Brdo. Photo: Aleksandar Gospic
