Nice view! Good job.
None. And what you feel (something:-) and hear (nothing:-) while looking inland ("The Interior") is kind of mystical.
I reckon the Death Valley may carry the same feelings, especially in the winter:-)
and best wishes for 2009.Marija.
Hvala ljepo, Marija. And the best of everything to you & Montenegro in '09!
I love pictures from previous eras (i.e. the 70's, 80s, etc. - I 'd like to see more like this on SummitPost. Just looking at the gear of the day is interesting
I still have my kind of home-made (1988) climbing shoes in my closet:) But I see you also enjoy flat:) pix: Here you are
My inner Buddha revealed.:)
We`ve reached the summit 3th April 2019, last 100 meters were really steep, hard snow and ice. Harder then Rysy in the winter :)
Thanks for your comment. Did you climb more peaks in the area? I was dreaming of climbing Raudfjellet (in the background, obscured by clouds, and also here), but I would have needed a partner to get there.
Raudfjellet looks like a real challenge. Our expedition leader didn't liked our mountain tours.
I've summited: Wienertinden, Tonnefjellet, Nornekampen (near Amundsenisen) Ostrogradskij (east end of the Hornsund), Fugleberget (20+), Ariekammen, Skoddefjellet (skitour), Tuva (skitour) and some other minor peaks between Hornsund and Baranowka. Also visited Recherchebreen and Calypso on snow-mobiles.
"Our expedition leader didn't liked our mountain tours." - Ha ha, nothing's changed then ;-) You did manage to climb some interesting peaks though!
