Re: how fast does that go?Maybe around 45 mph (same as 20 m/s)? I based this off two shots from a similar event on another day. And yeah, that's the tip at the bottom, just the first rocks in the cascade. Obviously this is a pretty small and probably cold flow in comparison to those famed at larger eruptions such as St. Helens and Pinatubo but you still wouldn't want it to hit you in the face :)

Re: how fast does that go?it's not an aerial shot I am thinking... This shot was taked from Santa Maria Volcanoe summit, that is higher that Santiguito. A perfect place to see Santiaguito's activies.
