Meall Chuaich

Meall Chuaich

Meall Chuaich (951m) next to Loch Cuiach in the Atholl & East Drumochter hills range seen from the summit of A'Mharconaich in the south east, which is in the West Drumochter hills. Meall Chuaich is the northern most Munro in the Atholl & East Drumochter hills and is generally climbed on its own from just north of Dalwhinnie. Due to its slight isolation in the area it is a peak that is easily picked out. The mountain is pronounced myowl chooeech and is Scots Gaelic for Hill of the Quaich.
