Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees, #2.

Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees, #2.

The second of two similar images taken on the exploratory hike along the Autumn Creek Trail, not far from Marias Pass, and at the foot of Summit Mountain. The combination of forest alternating with clearings, and the light of a nice day, was really quite enjoyable! I've always been fascinated by pictures such as this, that have no central point of focus. In addition, it seems to me the silvery sheen of the black & white processing gives the photo a kind of captivating quality quite aside from the specific image content.
