Hvala lepo !!!

I love it, my friend!

However, "Maja Lagojvet" sounds French.

Was it named by a Frenchman ???

Re: Hvala lepo !!!

Not an easy question. I tried to answer it here but it's just a guess.

Re: Hvala lepo !!!

I have a final question regarding this peak.

Do the Albanian peaks have lingering patches
of snow (bore) on them all year long ???

Re: Hvala lepo !!!

I'll answer instead of Marija again although it's her beautiful photo and not mine... oprosti, Marija :)
Yeah, Mediterranean-ish climate it may be but at this altitude all year snow patches are quite common.
cheers

Re: Hvala lepo !!!

Where is Marija? Please, tell her to not give
up (the ghost) on her English. : )

Cheers to all you folks on the Adriatic!

Re: Hvala lepo !!!

Kamil, congratulations for the ascent.
Maja e Langojvet is Albanian and means the peak of hunter's dogs, I mean gun dogs. In proper language should be Maja e Langojve but in northern dialect is Langojvet. :)

Faleminderit!

Thanks a lot Endri, also for confirming the meaning of the name! I'll add your note to my page, it needs a few updates and corrections anyway, just never have time for it... I can see from your blog that you know Bjeshket e nemuna quite well. This summer I'm going there for some more climbing so let's keep in touch.
All the best,
Kamil
