Overview

The Palava Hills include the whole complex of limestone formations in the South Moravia, Czech Republic.
It offers great hiking, some climbing, and visits to historical sites. There are ruins of 3 castles on the hills, one chapel, and sites where prehistoric people used to live. The area around the hills is known for the best wine region in the Czech republic, so rehydration with wine after a day of hiking is a great reward. And beer is cheaper than the water in the pub...

Beautiful Old Home

Lovely place - the actual centre of Europe, right between the Alps and the Carpathians. Thanks a lot for the pix, Liba. Looking forward to seeing more images of your homeland in the New Year.
Cheers
Jacek

Re: Beautiful Old Home

Thank you Jacek.
I will go to Podyji in the better weather, maybe not until the summer. My brother loves that place, and it is well preserved since nobody was allowed to go there for nearly 50 years.

Parents

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
