Overview

John Catto and Steve Wood climbed (to Main Summit) this logical line through three days in 1990. In good conditions it can be all pitches climbed free. Upper part provides superb climbing in perfect granite.

Lukpilla Brakk - West face - Topo

First part (7 pitches) to big terrace is similar with Rowells route. Last 7 pitches from snow ledge goes with Powels-Collins route to Bus Stop Summit and then two or three pitches to Main Summit. In lower and middle part is many variants.

Rappel same route.

Essential Gear

Standard big wall rack. For climbing to Main Summit maybe necessary crampons and ice axe - depends on conditions.
