Mounts Bierstadt and Evans as...
Mounts Bierstadt and Evans as viewed from the Middle-Earth-like Square Top cirque to the west. The lower of the two Square Top Lakes still had some open water while the upper one was completely frozen over. Strangely, Silver Dollar Lake and Naylor Lake on the north side of the ridge were still completely unfrozen. October 30, 2004.
