Tetnuldi in winter
January 2013 found us(Dan Alexe and Ciprian Teodorescu, Romania) in Svaneti on the way to Tetnuldi Peak(4920 asl). We had a nice week with sun.External Links
We wanted to go in winter time because the mountains are very interesting in white and the skills should be strong. It's not impossible but you need a good preparation and motivation. Usually the way to Mestia is hazardously although is asphalted but fresh snow and icy in winter. We had a sideslip and minor accident. Short movie from Tetnuldi and SvanetiLocal weather on this: link
