WELCOME TO Mount Elbrus - Highest Point in Europe
June 2013

Welcome to a journey beyond your imagination to Europe’s highest summit Mount Elbrus (5,642 m or 18,510 ft). Mount Elbrus is the tallest mountain in the Caucasus Range of Russia, which is 940 miles long and some 80 miles wide covered in an icecap and 22 glaciers. The Seven Summits are composed of each of the highest mountain peaks of each of the 7 continents and Ladies and Gentlemen this is 1 out of 7.

So dear family, friends, colleagues, Mirac and everybody else out there with a genuine interest in climbing and fantastic adventures, please follow us on this page the next days and weeks for adventurous stories. This trip report will contain real-time dispatches from our Mount Elbrus expedition beginning June 1, 2013, which I will try to update daily via phone. Be sure to check back from time to time to follow our progress. If a daily log is late, dont worry, it may be due to any number of reasons, including bad weather and/or a lack of connection with phone.

Take care, and very soon we will be back to see you all with a lot of good memories and thoughts to share.

Best wishes,

Jeffrey,

Stavanger, Norway
