Overview
This trail goes downhill following the southern rim of the Cedar Breaks Amphitheater. It first takes you to Spectra Point, a finger-like projection into the amphitheater with commanding views of the hoodoos and then continues down to end at another view point known as Rampart Overlook (You could potentially go further down to The Bartizan but the sign at Rampart Overlook announces the end of the trail). As you descend along the trail, you will have views of the hoodoos to the right and forested slopes to the left. Bristlecone pines up to 1600 years old can be found near the viewpoints.
