Japan Alps Omote Ginza &　Ura　Ginza 5th day

Sugoroku koya ( 2550m / 6:30 AM ) - Kagami Daira Sanso - Wasabi Daira - Shinhodaka Onsen (14:00) - Enjoyed hot spring at Nakazaki sanso / Shinhodaka Onsen - Bus to Hirayu - Bus to Matsumoto JR Station

Breakfast 5:30 AM
Lunch at Wasabi daira 13:00 PM  
Dinner at Matsumoto JR Station 19:00 PM 

Very sadly today is the last day of our trip in Japan. It is very nice day today too. However next typhoon is approaching Japan. It seems that our mountain trip is just between typhoons !

We departed Sugoroku koya at 6:30 AM and passed to tent site. It looks like this tent site is very big. These area is national park and it is prohibited to stay with tent excluding proper tent site. I tried to find the men who we met yesterday, however, I cannot find him.

I really enjoyed very fresh and clean morning air and felt very sad to leave mountains today. On the other hand, I was looking forward to going hot spring and back to my home too. 

Bye bye Sugoroku koya. See you next year !
( I decided to walk more further area next year.)

Very pleasant route in fresh air.

Arrived another hut. It is famous for pond to reflect Mt. Yari. I have heard a lots of people come to here to take photo of Mt. Yari.

My pet told me that he could see Mt. Yari waving his ? or her ? hand.

Some reason, I like this mountain which is called Mt. Kasagatake. It is looking good.

This trekking route is very easy to walk. Nicely maintained.

At lower area of this route, we can see very nice autumn colored trees. Actually wonderful !

 I was so excited to take too many photos!

This day was Saturday and there are a lot of people coming up to the mountain. This is one of the reason for us to go down this day, because we don't like crowded hut.

I think this area's color is the best on this day.

After 6 hours ? walking, We arrived Wasabi daira hut! This is the last hut on this route and it is only 1 hour from this hut to our goal which is Shinhodaka.




We found this hut served " So- men ". This is cold Japanese noodle and we enjoyed so much. It looks like there are plenty of nice mountain water around here. So they can service this kind of noodle which require quite a few water to wash after boiling. ( may be... )

This is just next to hut. This sign mention that right is " ok to drink " and left is " washing area ".

Left side.   This river was streaming from right to left.

Also this hut raise " Wasabi" in this river. It is well known that Wasabi can only be grown up in clean stream. Actually this stream is very nice and I brought a bottle of water to my home.

We can still enjoy nice colored mountain after the Wasabi daira hut.

Finally arrived the gate. This is a goal of this trekking route. We submited Trekking report to the post to let police ? know we arrived here without problem. This is a kind of rule in Japan for security reason.

After arriving shinhodaka, we went to hot spring which is called " Nakazaki Sanso ".  Sugoroku koya Staff told me this hot spring is very nice and highly recommended. So we decided to go there. Actually this building looks renewed and this hot spring is very nice and we enjoyed hot spring in out side which is called " Roten furo ". I really recommend to try. Also we enjoyed eating " Onsen Tamago " which is the egg boiled using hot spring water.

There is hot spring at most of the mountain area. Most of the mountain walker looking forward going to hot spring after their walking. I am one of the people like this. There are not shower in the mountain hut in Japan. So mountaineer have to to hot spring. Otherwise, not so good idea to go into the normal people in town !

Unfortunately the next person to my pet in the bus seems not gone to hot spring and my pet is struggle to stand his smell in the bus......

Below is the photo of entrance of hot spring where we went. It is very easy access from Shinhodaka bus stop to here. I think only 5 min walk.
