View from Split Mountain

The most spectacular view I saw from a summit was from Split Mountain. The view is to the SW. The summit in foreground is the smaller summit of Split. If I saw this picture as a painting, I'd have said that the painter got carried away with painting peaks. Yet, this is the view!

This sight is why I fell in love with the Sierra

Breathtaking. I have flown over Split Mountain from the Owens side, and even then did not get this view...
