Dark Clouds over Mount Sill and Palisades

The forecast was calling for 30% rain at 11 AM and for sure rain in the afternoon. The reason I started the hike at 3 AM was to get to the Summit before 11 AM and have time to come down at least to the Glacier before the thunderstorm started. I was lucky: by 10:20 AM I was off the summit but rain did not start. At this point, away from the mountain, glacier and field of boulders, the clouds were getting darker and I could hear thunder, but where I was at that point, I knew I was safe.
