Diving Board - Not the easiest way up

Scott and I traverse the slabs below Half Dome. This is not the easiest way up to the Diving Board. From here you either have to climb up the granite slabs up towards the bottom of Snake Dike or traverse all the way across the slabs to the trees in the distance (what we did). The easier way up is to continue on the trail below all the way to the bottom of those trees in the distance and go up the marked use trail.
