shocked about the snow condition. Can you tell me when you shot this panorama? I summited Königspitze starting from Rifugio Pizzini in august 2000 and there was a snowcover from the lower parts of the glacier to the summit, without interruption. If this is the actual snow status quo for summer I shall forget about my plans to traverse the Cristallo group from Stilfser Joch to Pizzini hut on the south side. Cheers, Michael
