well, reading all the attached pages to this articles, it doesn't look like a top list of the best, rather emblematic figures or pioneers. Vita Oskar Bühler seems to match the definition in Bavaria and this area of Europe, but the decisions is up to you. In my opinion it would be a pity too that your text remains not referenced and flowed in the mass of articles.
